Arnold Farms is among the oldest family farms in Teton Valley. Its name echoes throughout the seed potato industry as one of integrity from the ground up. Nestled deep in the backroads of the quaint community of Felt, Idaho, Arnold Farms’ Generation III seed potatoes are known for their high quality and disease-resistant varieties including: Russet Burbank, Ranger Russet, Clearwater Russet, Teton Russet, and Russet Norkotahs.
Aside from frequent and rigorous monitoring throughout the season for disease, the isolated nature of the farm at over 6,000 feet in elevation produces seed potatoes that are tenacious and persevering. The cellars are inspected several times throughout the season to maintain the high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the seed quality.
Jeremy and Eric Arnold, oversee the production of over 6,000 acres of crops: winter wheat, spring wheat, barley, hay, and 1,300 acres of seed potatoes. They wouldn’t be able to do it without the help of 20 year-round employees (doubled during potato harvest) and farm manager, Chuy Olivas.
